Last Thursday Steve and myself went up Moel Siabod from near Capel Curig damn hot weather and got forehead sun burnt.
Then today we went up Snowdon by the the hardest route the 'Watkin Path' it starts at the Pont Bethania car park just 56m above sea, which is at least a 1000ft lower than the car park at Pen y Pass and boy do legs know it by the time you reach the summit ;-). We then decended by the very blustery South Ridge, I will say tho a tough walk up and down its quieter and so more enjoyable than the tourist route of the Pyg or Miners paths. Rest day tommorow me thinks, and take the girls to the rugby on Sunday.
